<itunes:summary>Burnout Radio is Co-hosted by Charlie Brumfield and Nick Malone and is the primary podcast at Performance Radio Network. We take a light hearted look at the auto industry and we tend to spend more time off topic than on thanks to Charlie’s A.D.D. and Nick’s obsession with the Dodge Challenger. We share our opinions about our latest test drives and spend a fair amount of time ripping on one another. So if you like a good laugh and are as addicted to cars as we are then you’ll defiantly dig this cast.

Burnout Radio got started mid 2008 when we contrived a scheme to get to test drive a bunch of cars for free. That scheme was the Burnout Radio podcast where we do nothing but test drive cars, review products and go to as many car shows as humanly possibly. Then once a week, we sit down and tell you guys about whats new in the automotive industry, and fill you in on our weekly shenanigans.</itunes:summary>

<p>This week on Burnout Radio, we start with a new format which hopefully over the next few weeks will be hammered into something glorious, but knowing us, probably not. Obama states that he wants nothing to do with GM. <a title="GM Files Bankruptcy" href="http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&amp;sid=aA_QjYuWXWzI&amp;refer=home">GM files bankruptcy</a>, and they managed to sell both <a title="GM Sells Hummer" href="http://www.egmcartech.com/2009/06/02/gm-confirms-talking-to-chinese-firm-tengzhong-to-sell-hummer/">Hummer</a> and <a title="GM Sells Saturn" href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/05/gm-saturn-sale-roger-pens_n_211741.html ">Saturn</a>. We found some nifty spy photos of the new<a title="Spy Phots of the 2011 Ford Fiesta Sedan" href="http://www.autospies.com/news/Ford-Fiesta-Sedan-Caught-Testing-In-U-S-44556/ "> Ford Fiesta sedan</a>. Devon motors releases a trickle of info about the new <a title="Devon Motors GTX" href="http://wot.motortrend.com/6518326/auto-news/devon-gtx-the-next-american-supercar/index.html ">GTX </a>super car and let&#8217;s not forget the <a title="The Scorpion" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/03/16/driven-ronn-motor-company-scorpion-the-worlds-first-green-s/ ">Scorpion</a> and the <a title="The Burp" href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/05/28/bewerp-savage-revale-roadyacht-gts-deserves-a-better-name/ ">Bewerp</a>. We also found out that the U.S. Airforce tried to top the National Guard for the &#8220;who has the cooler car award&#8221; with the <a title="ASAF Mustang X1 Challeger Vapor" href="http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive/2009/06/04-us-air-force-x1-vapor-concepts/ ">Mustang X1 and the Challenger Vapor</a>. Speaking of custom cars, we also try and figure out if <a title="Eco+Muscle" href="http://media.origin.popularmechanics.com/documents/ecomuscle/makeover1.html">American Muscle can be green</a>. Then we ask the question, &#8220;What have we come to as a society when thieves don&#8217;t have the common curtosy to at least put your car on blocks when they <a href="http://www.facebook.com/ext/share.php?sid=87182902404&amp;h=JqUGC&amp;u=M6mqP&amp;ref=nf">steal your wheels</a>?&#8221;</p>
